On January 31st, the Cigarra Non-Profit Organization had the honor of receiving the dental students from the Universidad Javeriana, who carried out an oral health brigade for our children.

El pasado 7 de junio se llevó a cabo una jornada maravillosa con un show en homenaje a la cultura colombiana, rescatando los valores, tradiciones y costumbres de las diferentes regiones de nuestro país. Un evento que hizo volar la imaginación de los asistentes y sacó miles de sonrisas, al mejor estilo de una gran serie colombiana.

At Cigarra Non-Profit Organization we are firmly committed to the welfare of children around the world, and on this occasion, we are excited to share that we have donated $223.61 USD, raised through the sale of Ukrainian Cigarritas.

As of 2025, the Cigarra Non-Profit Organization has established the institutional values that will guide its social commitment, reaffirming its mission to promote the well-being and integral development of the people who are part of our community.

We are proud to present today our anthem of the Cigarra Non-Profit Organization. In December 2022 the group ClaraLuna accepted our proposal to sing and record together with our youth choir this beautiful hymn.

El pasado 20 de marzo de 2025 se llevó a cabo una jornada de valoración visual, cuyo objetivo principal fue mejorar la calidad de salud visual de nuestros niños, niñas y adultos mayores de la Fundación Cigarra.

La Orquesta Sinfónica Cigarra tuvo el honor de participar en el Encuentro de Orquestas Sinfónicas del SGS, una experiencia inolvidable que motiva a nuestros jóvenes músicos a seguir creciendo.

En el marco del proyecto “La Pequeña Colombia: su casa sumercé”, organizado por el colectivo Amigos del Turista, la Fundación Cigarra presentó la orquesta sinfónica y el montaje teatral “La detective Urrutia” en la Sala Leo de la Biblioteca Pública El Paraíso.

El pasado 29 de agosto, nuestros talentosos niños artistas fueron invitados a participar en la maravillosa muestra artística “La Detective Urrutia”, realizada en Quiba, zona rural de Ciudad Bolívar, nuestra localidad.
