We are proud to present today our anthem of the Cigarra Non-Profit Organization. Not without first commenting that for a long time it was the song "Como la Cigarra", interpreted by the wonderful Mercedes Sosa, which we used for the different events in our Foundation. However, we must recognize that it was fair and necessary to have our own work to consolidate our identity and sing together that "we are the resurgence of a hope". The hymn was composed in its lyrics and music by teachers Jonathan Villegas, Juan Camilo Góngora, Andrés Quitián and Yezid Barbosa, who were inspired by the ideas that the children and members of the Foundation proposed on a special day.
In December 2022 the group ClaraLuna accepted our proposal to sing and record together with our youth choir this beautiful hymn. The session took place in one of the most important recording studios in our country, AudioVisión, where artists such as Justin Beeber, Aterciopelados, Jorge Celedón, Andrés Cepeda, Marbelle, among others, have recorded. The audio production was made by Andrés Quitián and the video production was made by Juan Camilo Góngora. We hope you enjoy our hymn and that from now on we appropriate this song that honors the vast trajectory of the Fundación de Cigarra.
